BAACyard Clubhouse Class Rules/Policies

General Policies
:: Only members have access to BAACyard Clubhouse classes.
:: Only children physically able to participate in BAACyard activities allowed.
ie. If a child has a broken bone, we must have a written note from that child's doctor indicating he/she can continue to participate. If he/she is unable to participate, he/she may use the Nursery. 

:: Children may use the Clubhouse/Nursery for 3 hours before 4:30PM.
:: Children may use the BAACyard Clubhouse/Nursery for 2 hours after 4:30PM. (Note: Nursery daily maximum is 2 hours)
:: Parents may play with their children during our Parent/Child Free Play. 
:: No food/drink is allowed in the Clubhouse except from the snack bar/Clubhouse.
:: Children must maintain appropriate behavior while in the BAACyard Clubhouse.

Age Requirements
:: Parents must check in all children under 12 at the front desk of the BAACyard Clubhouse.
:: Youth who are 12 years of age or older may check themselves in or out at the front desk of the BAACyard Clubhouse.
:: Parents must remain on the Bel Air Athletic Club premises while children under the age of 12 are participating in the BAACyard Clubhouse Classes or the Nursery. Children may be picked up by an adult (16 years of age or older) other than their parents, provided we have a signed note indicating parental permission.
:: Children under the age of 12 must be in a staff-supervised activity at all times while in the BAACyard Clubhouse or must be under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian over age 16.

Dress Code
Athletic clothes and tennis shoes MUST be worn at all times in order to participate in activities BAACyard Clubhouse classes. (Even if children begin in the nursery, dance, or martial arts classes and are then taken to a BAACyard Clubhouse class, they must have tennis shoes to participate.) Bathing suits are not permitted.

Sickness Policy
No child may be allowed in BAACYard Clubhouse Classes if any of the following are present:
:: A deep, throaty cough
:: A colored nasal discharge
:: Rash of any kind
:: If your child is sent home or stays home from school due to illness

Pleasae refrain from bringing your child to classes until the symptoms are gone. This policy will be enforced in order to operate a healthy environment for all children.


Guest Policy

Guests may use the BAACyard Clubhouse in accordance with the Bel Air Athletic Club guest policy.


Non-member Use Policy
It is the policy of the Bel Air Athletic Club to actively promote regular non-member participation in selected programs. It is consistent with our operating philosophy to provide excellence in these programs while, at the same time, protecting the benefits and facilities for our dues paying members. For this purpose, the following standards for non-member programs have been established. Please familiarize yourself with the following:
:: Program participants are only permitted to use facilities directly related to the program they are participating.

:: All accompanying individuals can only use Club facilities as paid guests.
:: Participants cannot arrive earlier than 15 min. prior to the beginning of their class/program and are expected to leave no later than 15 minutes after its conclusion.
:: Participants must check in at one of the Club's check in desks with their non-member Program Participant Card. This card should be issued when registering for the program.
:: Any individuals who knowingly violate these standards may forfeit their program privileges, all applicable fees, and may be barred from future programs, guest or membership privileges at the Bel Air Athletic Club.
